This variable resistor is great for confirming the operation of analogue sensor circuits. Can be used for: Pressure Sensors Position Sensors Temperature Sensors Connect the sensor simulator to the power, ground and signal line of the wiring harness and watch the signal change on the scan tool live data. The sensor simulator has a resistance range of 10k-ohms. It can also be used to replicate fault codes for intermittent problems, so you can confirm what might be causing fault codes to be set.
