I imagine the city as an urban landscape re-wilded in a post-human future as nature comes back through the cracks of concrete foundations. Manifesting as architectural relics, the surface of my sculptures resemble new age sediments formed in the Anthropocene as marbleised concrete. Materials are transformed, as layers of synthetic and organic matter intertwine as a hybrid symbiosis, a built environment of future architectures. Ancathus Rosa is currently featured at the Saatchi Gallery, Flowers in Contemporary Art and Culture. This second edition has been especially created for Hypha curates.
