This collection is made from heirloom beads, and rose from a commission. These beads belonged to their Oma, having been used for dresses, and this commission is intended to be shared amongst cousins. I was gifted the remainder of the beads, and made a collection larger than the original 4 pieces- the remainder being available. This collection reflects the song I heard from those heirloom beads.This collection reflects the cyclical nature of water. What is now will be again, as it has been before. The ways in which things manifest may be different from how they appeared in the past, as life continues moving forward. The river may change size and path in places, and yet it remains a river.Water changes through different states of matter, yet remains water. Water is present in the mists around the milky way, which cleanse our souls on our way to our mortal lives. Water and its cleansing is present in the rains, washing away the stress and strain of life. Water quenches the fires that rage, and nurtures new growth.Water is an ever changing constant. It moves forever forward within the ancient waves.
