We think of the tomahawk as a weapon, but this versatile creation was a very important tool for the Native American. It was used for many things including the important task of hun ting. Navajo silversmith Aaron Anderson crafted this pendant out of tufa rock, a fascinating tomahawk design. The top of the tomahawk displays a beautiful piece of Chinese turquoise that reveals a a deep blue color that is filled with a spider web matrix. You will appreciate the detail of wooden (silver) handle. A large bail finishes the pendant, something that will allow you to wear this with many different style necklaces.
