Big Bluestem is a clump forming prairie grass native to Ohio. The foliage changes color from bluish green in summer to a reddish bronze in the fall. Tolerates a wide variety of soi l types and is very drought tolerant once established. A top choice for naturalistic plantings. Grow on the lean side to prevent flopping.
