During this quite short stint I reflected on how I have created a life based around surfing and the ocean to ensure that it will always be apart of my life. This goes so far as the choice of my partner, where I live, my occupation, even the sports my children do. Have all these decisions been a conscious choice? Or has my subconscious ensured that surfing and the ocean will always be a focus in my life. Water/ A colourless, transparent, odourless liquid that forms the seas, lakes, rivers, and rain. The original paintings are created from a combination of acrylic paint, spray-paint, old surf magazines, paint pens, ink and resin.
