Clase Azul Añejo Tequila is a tribute to the Mazahuas the indigenous people inhabiting the north-western area of the State of Mexico and neighbouring Michoacán and Querétaro. Despi te their proximity to Mexico City their culture is relatively unknown. So Clase Azul honours them with this decanter which features a four-petaled flower – the traditional Mazahua representation of the Sun – on the back. You’ll also notice the raw clay at the base representing the fertile earth a thin blue line denoting the water that gives life to the agave the piña from which Tequila is made and the feathered design of the Clase Azul family in 24-carat gold paint.
