It is well known for its elegant white flowers, which bloom from May to July, and its deeply lobed, attractive foliage. Although it can be aggressive, it is easily controlled by mowing or by competition from taller plants. It is especially striking when planted en masse, creating a bright carpet of white blooms in late spring and early summer.
