This Anfora Vase is hand built out of stoneware with grog from Manises (Spain) and brushed with experimental glazes mix and textured surface, resulting in slight variations with ea ch piece. Glazed stoneware 6.30" x 11" Press mould. Uses and cleaning: Not watertight. Clean with a damp cloth or small brush. Handmade in Valencia, Spain We are Raquel Vidal and Pedro Paz and every single piece you will find on our work is handmade by us. While avoiding mass reproduction processes, we research and develop some of the most ancient ceramic and goldsmithing techniques. Accordingly, our collections are based on press-moulding, coiling, wax-modeling and lost-wax casting. Moreover, the main material we use to build our pieces is local stoneware with grog. We have also developed the finishing and surface treatments, which are at the very core of our work. Therefore, we hope you will consider each ceramic piece as a reflection of our respect for nature and raw materials, and of our deep devotion to craftsmanship. Show more
