The Angled I-Beam metal table base is our take on a base that is both modern AND industrial. Fabricated from a heavy 1/2" thick steel base plate and 6" wide flanged I-Beam, this base weighs around 300lbs making it an excellent choice for even the heaviest of table tops! The top mounting plates are fabricated from 1/4" thick flat bar steel equipped with elongated mounting slots to allow for wood movement. All exposed, exterior weld seams are ground smooth to give it a fully finished, professional look. Interior welds are maintained for strength. With a base this special we know that the colour needs to be perfect which is why we offer it in any powder coat colour that our suppliers carry. Shoot us an email for the website where you can view our colour options. Powder coat is the industry standard for furniture and its durability far outweighs that of a standard wet paint finish. The base in the photos is shown using our matte black powder coat as well as the uncoated raw steel finish. Each Angled I-Beam Table Base is custom made to suit your exact dining table size. Given the custom aspect of fabrication, production lead time on this style of base is 6 weeks. Additionally, we are currently only offering this style of base to customers within Ontario. You can opt to pick up the base from our workshop or we can deliver it for a fee. Please send us an email for a delivery quote. Pricing for this base starts at $1500 CAD + hst.
