A group of very rich and showy Anglesite crystals from within the 2nd Oxidation Zone on 28 Level in the Tsumeb mine, Namibia. This specimen is composed almost entirely of Anglesite , including most of the matrix, save for a little pinkish-grey carbonate. Perhaps the most striking crystal, which stands vertical on the matrix, measures 3.5 x 2.8 x 2.3 cm, with an even larger, 5.5 x 2.5 cm crystal lying flat against the matrix. The crystals all have slightly curved prism faces and are an opaque creamy-white with a bright lustre. A great Tsumeb Anglesite. Show more
