Named for the year it was casks, Angostura 1919 is a light blend of rums aged in charred, used bourbon casks and distilled in Angostura’s multi-column continuous still.Angostura 1919 is a rum with a unique story. In 1932, following a catastrophic fire hundreds of charred casks filled with rum, were found at Trinidad’s Government Rum Bond. Creative blending of this precious find, rum that had been aging 13 years, resulted in a delightful light golden rum of incomparable taste.
