Size:25 x 25 in. Leead Shamir's "Pearl Chicken" is a 20" x 20" inch original work that encapsulates her vibrant, expressive style and her deep commitment to exploration and innovat ion. The composition features a bold, stylized portrait alongside two strikingly patterned birds, with vivid red beaks and intricately dotted black feathers. The human figure, with geometric shapes and bold lines, has an elongated face and minimalist, abstract features rendered in shades of blue, red, and black, set against a warm mustard-yellow background. Shamir's process begins with abstract shapes, allowing these forms to organically develop into more recognisable figures as she works, giving her art an improvisational and deeply personal quality. Her intuitive approach results in compositions that embrace imperfection, with expressive brushwork and playful arrangements that break away from traditional artistic structures. "Pearl Chicken" reflects Shamir's unique ability to navigate her emotional and creative landscape, presenting an engaging and whimsical narrative through vibrant colour contrasts, bold line work, and a keen sense of spontaneity. The result is a distinctive piece that offers viewers a window into her world of self-expression. Show more
