We are privileged to have a stunning selection of postcard prints from local artist Anjee Du Terreau. Anjee hand paints beautiful landscapes from the Mudgee region and surrounds, a nd prints smaller versions on postcards for a unique and affordable Mudgee souvenir. Anjee is a delightful “Pocket Rocket”, originally from the UK but happily now in OZ with its kaleidoscope of brilliant colours. Trained as a photographer, then working as a ceramicist, Anjee has now found her real love in the palette of colours around Mudgee with its hills and vineyards, trees and rivers. These are landscapes with a difference, some are have a subtle soft focus to them up close, yet standing back further the painting comes into its own and becomes far more detailed, its quite intriguing! She uses a variety of application techniques and all her works have a wonderful play of light and colour which is a testament to her talent. The subjects of the paintings are from far and near, some are from our district eg. Warrumbungle Rocks and Burrundulla Blue and some nearby eg.
