Anka Rising is inspired by the shared archetype of three mythological birds across three civilizations - the Persian Simurgh, the Anka of pre-Islamic and Arab legend, and the Phoen ix of Ancient Greece. These pieces are made to mark meaningful moments of transition and transformation and to honor the self that emerges on the other side. In the ring, she is mid-ascent: wings spread wide, body paved in white diamonds, rising toward the bezel-set emerald that crowns her from above.
