Why Order from Design & Grace Authorized Ankarsrum retailer: Design & Grace is an authorized Ankarsrum retailer, so you receive a genuine accessory designed for the Assistent Original. Ships from Texas: Your Ankarsrum accessory is carefully packed and shipped from our Texas facility. Real customer support: Our team can help with compatibility, setup, and choosing the right Vegetable Cutter drums for how you cook. Three Drums for Everyday Prep The slicing drum produces thin, even slices for potatoes, onions, root vegetables, fruit, and greens. Switch to the coarse grater for ingredients such as root vegetables, fruit, cheese, nuts, and chocolate, or use the medium grater when you want a finer texture for vegetables, baking ingredients, fruit, and cheese. The attachment mounts directly to the Assistent Original and uses the mixer's motor to process ingredients quickly. Drums change easily, and the included pusher keeps food moving safely through the housing. Signature Features Slicing drum: Produces thin slices of potatoes, onions, root vegetables, fruit, and greens for salads, gratins, casseroles, and everyday prep. Coarse grating drum: Shreds root vegetables, fruit, cheese, nuts, and chocolate with a coarser texture. Medium grating drum: Creates a finer grate for vegetables, fruit, cheese, and baking ingredients. Assistent-powered: Uses the motor of the Ankarsrum Assistent Original rather than requiring a separate appliance. Quick drum changes: The interchangeable drum system lets you move between slicing and grating tasks without changing the main housing. Dishwasher safe: The Vegetable Cutter and its drums can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Expandable system: An optional three-drum set adds fine grating, shredding, and potato dumpling preparation. Broad Assistent compatibility: Compatible with Ankarsrum Assistent Original machines from N1 through the current N30 / AKM6230.
