The ASO ankle stabiliser brace is a lace-up ankle support designed to hold the ankle steady and limit inversion, the inward roll of the foot. Non-stretch stabilising straps wrap in a figure-8 pattern that works like an ankle taping application, locking the heel in place. It sits low enough to fit inside a normal athletic or street shoe, and the straps retighten during wear without taking the shoe off.
