Annabel tells the macabre tale of the murder of the wealthy Barnaby Leigh, leaseholder of Arreton Manor during the reign of Elizabeth I. Legend has it that the fading Barnaby Leigh was smothered whilst lingering on his deathbed by his eldest son, impatient to receive his inheritance. Realising he had been seen by his younger sister, Annabel, the tale goes that he pushed her from an upstairs window to conceal his crime. Seen in a blue dress with golden-blonde hair, she is said to still appear within the manor today. Our large ghost figurines measure approximately 8cm tall and are hand-made with care on the Isle of Wight, thought to be the most haunted island in the world. Each ghost is completely unique and features an Isle of Wight shaped base. Matt finish. Please note that, by virtue of the hand-making and finishing process, each ghost is different and minor imperfections or colour variations may be present.
