The body is worked flat in one piece, beginning with a scalloped edge and continuing to the armholes. The sleeves are worked separately, starting with a scalloped edge worked flat before joining to work in the round to the armholes. The body and sleeves are then joined on one needle, and the yoke is worked flat with a lace pattern and decreases. Finally, stitches are picked up for the neckband, which is worked in seed stitch and includes a buttonhole. Sew on the buttons to finish.
