For a little shimmer—or a properly dramatic glow—Annie Sloan Metallic Paint adds a lustrous satin-sheen finish to furniture, walls, and decorative details. Choose Traditional Gold for a warm, timeworn antique gold; Modern Gold for a softer, paler contemporary gold; or Rose Gold for a pink-toned gold with coppery undertones. How it behaves One thin coat creates a translucent shimmer. Two coats create a more opaque, radiant finish. Allow 3–4 hours before applying the second coat. Coverage is approximately 40 sq ft (3.6 m²) per pot, depending on the surface and application. How to use it Stir well and test a small area first. Apply to a clean, dry, dust-free surface with an Annie Sloan Flat Brush or Small Sponge Roller. If applying over Chalk Paint®, let the Chalk Paint® dry completely first. Metallic Paint has built-in protection, so wax or lacquer is not normally required. For especially high-traffic surfaces, finish with Chalk Paint® Lacquer if added durability is needed.
