Initially a professional surfer, he painted in the alleys of San Clemente, where his art began to gain recognition. His style, influenced by his father's teachings and artists like William DeBilzan and Aldo Luongo, is rugged yet refined, attracting attention from Disney and cruise lines. Mezak's pieces are in private collections, including those of Richie Sambora, Pamela Anderson, Michael Brown, and Paul Walker.
