The location, a simple beach. Each day the same thing, I would set up and wait. Days went by as the sunset would look promising and at the last minute, disappear into nothing. Today was different. There was anticipation in the air. A layer of clouds on the horizon threatened another let-down but just as the sun disappeared behind the horizon the clouds broke apart allowing the glow of the sun through. The sky lit up as the clouds added the perfect character to the scene. I fired off several shots to create this beautiful photo as the remaining light disappeared.
