About the Artist Jeremiah Murphy is a graduate of the Oberlin College Conservatory Of Music. A sought after workshop clinician, he has traveled throughout the United States, to Europe and the Middle East lecturing and/or performing. A teacher in the Prince George's County Maryland Public School System, he directs the internationally renowned Largo High School Choir. He is a recipient of the Washington Post's prestigious Agnes Meyer Outstanding Teacher Award. Jeremiah Murphy served as a coordinator for the 750 voice Mass Choir for Jerusalem 3000, the celebration of the 3000th birthday of the city of Jerusalem in Israel. He is a member of the Gospel Music Workshop Of America, National Academy of Recording Arts And Sciences, and the Gospel Music Association.
