This red Anthurium is a highly sought "Obake" type. Obake Anthuriums are a specialty anthurium hybrid known for their large, multicolored, gradient-shaded spathes — the colorful, p etal-like part of the bloom. They’re a staple for us in Hawaii and are prized for their exotic appearance, size, and longevity as cut flowers. These "Obake" (meaning: something that changes) anthuriums do not show the color transformation in the flower color yet.
