Endemic to Chiapas, Mexico, this plant grows well in higher humidity. However, it is actually more tolerant of drier conditions than most of its sister anthuriums, tolerating as lo w as 35% without complaint. They are known for their thick, velvet leaves that resemble a heart. This Anthurium is slower growing than its cousin Anthurium crystallinum, which may be the reason clarinerviums tend to be a bit harder to find and more expensive.
