Anthurium 'Joli Pink', also known as the Pink Flamingo Lily, is an elegant flowering houseplant with glossy, heart-shaped green leaves and striking soft pink blooms. Its long-lasting flowers and compact, upright habit make it a beautiful choice for coffee tables, shelves and bright living spaces. Native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America, Anthuriums naturally grow beneath the forest canopy, where they enjoy warmth, bright indirect light and high humidity. The colourful 'flowers' are actually modified leaves called spathes, surrounding the tiny true flowers on the central spike. Each bloom can last for up to six weeks, with healthy plants producing flowers throughout much of the year. Place your Anthurium in bright, indirect light and water when the top few centimetres of compost begin to dry. Avoid direct sunlight, which can scorch the leaves, and keep away from cold draughts. Enjoys higher humidity but adapts well to most homes. Feed every month during spring and summer with a balanced houseplant fertiliser.
