Antique Claw Feet are paw shaped caps used on curved table and sofa legs. They slide down from the top over the portion of foot that sits flat on the ground, enclosing both sides, front and top of furniture-foot. Originally this style was popularized by Duncan Phyfe, a prominent cabinet maker of the Federal period. They then experienced a resurgence during the Colonial Revival era. Show more
