It weighs approx. 0.80ct and is complemented by eight bright diamonds, totalling approx. 0.80ct as well. The diamonds are all brilliant-cut, except one old mine-cut that may have been added over time. Ruby is the birthstone of July and has long been associated with the heart due to its fiery pink/ red colouring which is symbolic of passion.
