An antique earthenware cake mould with a deep green glazed exterior and contrasting brown glazed interior. The mould has a traditional fluted form, with pronounced spiral ribs runn ing around the body and a central chimney. A particularly decorative piece of old kitchenware, with plenty of variation to the glaze and visible signs of its former use. The green exterior has areas of wear and loss, particularly around the upper surface, alongside small firing irregularities and marks accumulated with age.
