This is a 19th century boot jack elegantly carved into the shape of a lady's legIt is made of red brown mahogany with an attractive grainIt has two brass hinges and two short brass feet There is a scar in the wood on the underside of one half of the "foot".The jack unfolds to reveal two carved recesses which hold folding steel boot pulls.One boot pull has a button hook on its end and the other a punch or lacing tool.
