This is an old standing boot jack.It is made of red-brown oak.It has a turned handle and legsThe swinging central part has an opening which would hold the heel of the boot to be re moved while the wearer stood on the back of this part.The jack shows some wear where it has been stood on , there are a few marks and scuffs and scratches on it.
