Hebei, circa 1920 These lovely little boxes were produced in the early twentieth century and presented to newlyweds along with money or other gifts inside. They are in the original red lacquer finish - a lucky colour in China - and adorned with good luck and 'double happiness' symbols. They still make lovely gifts today, and are useful for storing jewellery or other personal effects. Sold individually, the price shown is for one box. Show more
