I came across a market in a small square while I was wandering through the streets of Florence. There I met Barbara, an artisan selling these bookmarks made from antique porcelain from her grandmother’s collection. She didn’t speak much English, but we were able to communicate through my broken Italian. She was excited to show me her collection. Barbara gets the piece of porcelain, adjusts the shape, and creates them into new pieces. These bookmarks add elegance to your cozy morning reading.
