This is a beautiful rare 18th-century relic representing the Sacred Heart of Jesus. This piece was part of a collection of 13 pieces. It is a stunning piece made using an antique b ook. It is a superb devotional shrine in the form of a book measuring 7.5" wide x 5.5" high and 1.2" deep. Many different materials were used in making this piece, including gilded paper, flowers, glass, an antique book, marbled paper, metal birds, and other materials.
