The composition features a man dressed in classic Basque attire standing near an ornate fireplace adorned with antique tools and weapons, symbolizing the region’s past and its proud traditions. Opposite him, a young girl in traditional dress sits on a wooden chair, embodying the continuity of Basque heritage through generations. Above them, cured hams hang from the ceiling, a nod to the culinary traditions for which the region is famous.
