Aperta is inspired by the mystery and attraction of light and space breaking through narrow voids in architectural structures. The objects feature a precise slit, creating a sense of lightness to its solid form. The Aperta table has manually adaptable legs, allowing for various configurations to alter the table’s expression within the space. Designed by Aad Bos and crafted in the Netherlands out of solid European oak or American walnut. The product is made to order with a production time of 7-8 weeks and customizable in design, size, material and color. The photos show the table in dark brown oak, brushed and matte varnished and the table in light oak, smooth and matte varnished finish. The photos of the table in light oak are made by Nicholas John Wilkins.
