The API Calcium Test Kit is essential for reef aquarium enthusiasts. This kit allows you to easily and accurately measure calcium levels in your saltwater aquarium. Maintaining proper calcium levels is crucial for the health and growth of reef invertebrates such as corals, crustaceans, and mollusks, as they utilize calcium to build their skeletons and shells. Over time, the calcium in your aquarium water will decrease as these organisms consume it. The API Calcium Test Kit measures calcium levels as low as 20 mg/L. Regular testing, ideally weekly, helps prevent invisible water problems that can be harmful to your aquatic life. With this test kit, you can proactively monitor your calcium levels and supplement as needed to keep your reef inhabitants thriving. The kit includes two calcium test solution bottles, a glass test tube with a cap, an easy-to-read color card, and complete, step-by-step instructions for accurate results. It's fast, easy to use, and provides the current level of calcium in your aquarium water, allowing you to maintain the proper balance in your tank. * Tests calcium levels as low as 20 mg/L * For use in reef aquariums * Contains: test solution, glass test tube, and instructions * Accurately measures calcium levels * Easy to use
