Apiary takes its cue from nature’s favourite geometry: the hexagon. Inspired by honeycomb structures and the striking basalt formations of Ōhira Bay in the Chatham Islands, this design brings subtle pattern, structural strength and a sense of natural order into the home. The refined loop pile creates a soft, organic texture that sits comfortably in both contemporary and classic interiors. Crafted from premium New Zealand felted wool, Apiary is made using a process of heat, moisture and agitation to bind the fibres tightly together. This creates a dense, durable yarn that feels beautifully tactile underfoot and is designed to shed less than traditional wool carpets. The result is a crisp, low-shed loop pile that holds its shape and appearance over time.
