This is the Apogee Symphony I/O Mk II chassis with Thunderbolt connectivity and no I/O modules installed. It is the starting point for a custom configuration: choose the analog and digital modules the room needs, or reuse modules you already own. Chassis and Control The Symphony I/O Mk II chassis holds Apogee's flagship conversion, a front-panel color touchscreen for input selection, gain, metering, and monitor control at the rack, and two module bays for up to 32 channels. Because the I/O is modular, the same chassis can be re-specified later as the room's channel count changes. Apogee's Symphony Control software mirrors the hardware controls on the computer, and the optional Apogee Control hardware remote adds a physical level knob and assignable buttons. Connectivity Thunderbolt connects the interface to a Mac as a native audio device with low round-trip latency. Routing, input settings, and monitor control are handled in Symphony Control software or from the front-panel touchscreen. I/O Modules At least one module is required before the chassis can pass audio. Available modules include the 8x8 MP (8 mic/line inputs with digitally controlled preamps and 8 line outputs), the 16x16 SE (16 line inputs and outputs on DB25), and the 2x6 SE (2 analog inputs and 6 analog outputs with AES and optical digital I/O). Two bays can be filled in any combination up to 32 channels.
