Condition & what's included Our grade: Lightly Played. Shown with a stock image — ask and we'll photograph the card itself. Every card ships triple-sleeved — a soft sleeve, a deck sleeve and a rigid top loader. About this card Appa, Steadfast Guardian is the sky bison from Avatar: The Last Airbender as a legendary creature in Magic's Avatar crossover set, here in the borderless printing with the art run to the edges. Appa is the team's protector and its transport, and the card leans into that: a big, loyal flier built for creature decks that want their board to be hard to break apart. In Commander he fits a themed Avatar deck, a legendary-creature deck, or any list that wants a guardian who can carry the rest of the team through a four-player game. One of the set's most-loved characters.
