DWARF M106 - The Gala apple tree is a popular variety of apple tree that produces delicious, sweet apples with a crisp texture. At maturity, a Gala apple tree typically grows to a height of 10 to 15 feet and a width of 8 to 12 feet. The fruit of the Gala apple is typically ready for harvest in late summer or early fall and is a medium-sized apple with a red and yellow skin that is often striped. The flesh of the apple is creamy yellow with a sweet, juicy flavor and a crisp texture. Gala is is considered self fertile but is best grown in zones 5-9 with pollinated with Red Delicious, Fuji & Granny Smith apple trees. Mature height is 10-15' so it's a good semi dwarf variety. Our apple trees are 3 year trees that our sold in 5 gallon lines and are approximately 6' tall and have a trunk of approximately 1.5".
