Malus 'Norland' - Norland Apple - Fruit is green with red stripes. Will store well if picked just before it ripens. Semi-dwarf. Zone 3. Blooms in May. Harvest in August. Small gree n-red fruit. Used for fresh eating and cooking. Full sun. Pollinates with Prairie Magic and Dolgo Crabapple. 12'-15'H. Prune in spring. Use Bone Meal when you first plant. Do not fertilize the first year. Fertilize once a year with a balanced granular fertilizer. Do not plant any deeper than it is in the pot. Do not add any soil or mulch around the base of the stem.
