Early dessert apple Fruit Tree Harvest: Mid September Root Stock: MM106 (semi-dwarfing) FPM Katy is a very attractive, early dessert apple. The fruit is an overall bright scarlet with flecks and broken stipes of deeper colour. An early fruit that is firm and juicy, fine-textured and has a pleasant strawberry-like flavour. Makes excellent fresh juice, a palatable cider and is also good for baking a delicious apple crumble. Heavy and regular cropping and an excellent pollinator variety. A good choice for northern gardens. DELIVERY INFORMATION: This item will be delivered on a wooden pallet. The pallet will be delivered using a heavy goods vehicle and will need plenty of room to deliver as well as needing someone to sign for the delivery. As the deliveries are kerbside, this means that the driver will take the pallet off the lorry and will only be able to move the pallet to a close and easily accessible place from the road. The driver will not be able to wheel the delivery across any uneven surface such as grass, gravel or up or down steps and will not unload the items from the pallet or take the pallet away with them. If there are any issues with the access to your property, please contact us before your order is dispatched so that we can discuss possible alternative arrangements - failure to do so may result in a failed delivery and a re-delivery charge may be applicable.
