Using the Magic Loop technique (from the book by Bev Galaskas), you'll knit a full pair of cuff-down socks guided by an inspiring and knowledgeable instructor. The class is limited to just six students so you receive plenty of personal attention and support. You'll learn new skills, connect with fellow makers, and walk away with the skills to knit socks for life. The support doesn't stop when class ends — the Apple Yarns team is always here during open hours to help you keep moving forward. 🧶 Who this class is for: Anyone who knows how to cast on, knit, and purl in the round and wants to learn how to knit socks using the Magic Loop method. Please arrive 30 minutes early if you still need to pick up supplies. 210 yds. of worsted-weight yarn, wound and ready to knit with (bring 340 yds. for adult large socks). Approved yarns are Malabrigo Rios and Berroco Vintage. Yarn not on the approved list must be approved before class — email [email protected] with the yarn name and color. Our instructors select approved yarns that work especially well for the pattern and techniques being taught. If you'd like to use a different yarn, we're happy to take a quick look — our goal is simply to help you have the best experience possible. What to expect at Apple Yarns Our classes are small — just six students — so everyone gets personalized attention. Our entire team is here to support you every step of the way. Stop by during open hours anytime you need help! In-shop class policies Supplies are separate from class fees unless noted. Students receive a 10% discount card for in-store purchases, valid through the end of the last class. Please do not reference other online resources during class unless guided by the instructor. Minimum age for class is 14. Cancellations made at least 72 hours in advance receive a shop credit refund. Cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice are not eligible for shop credit. Cancel by emailing [email protected] to ensure proper time-stamping. If a student misses one session of a multi-session class, a private lesson with the instructor can be scheduled for an additional fee. Only paying students are allowed in the classroom. Private lessons can be rescheduled once without an additional fee with 24 hours' notice. Cancellations 24+ hours in advance receive shop credit.
