Beautiful Appleton's Crewel Wools, great for cushion covers and household items. Not just for needlepoint, crewel wools create a lovely, cozy texture on counted thread fabrics and can be a fun change of pace from cotton floss. Appleton's is a British company that has been sourcing, spinning and dyeing wool for 180 years. Each skein has 27m/29.7yds (to substitute for DMC, double the DMC yardage). Best paired with any 26ct fabric (30ct fabrics are a bit too fine to use with crewel wool). Colorfast, hand wash cool, line dry. Show more
