Here's what to expect when you reserve a visit. Guitars are kept in their cases under strict climate control rather than displayed on a wall. Each instrument you'd like to try is unboxed at least two days before your visit, set up, and brought up to pitch. The strings are then retuned several times in the days leading up to your appointment so they stretch and settle. By the time you arrive, every guitar is stable, in tune, and ready to play its best. A $200 deposit reserves your appointment and is applied directly to your purchase. If you decide not to buy, the deposit covers the preparation time invested in your visit. (The deposit is not returned to you.) Show more
