Saturday, April 26th 10:45am - 5:00pm Sunday, April 27th 11:45am - 6:00pm Location: City Cycle indoor cycling studio - Seattle, WA We have designed a two-day training program that will cover every aspect of becoming the ultimate indoor cycling instructor. You do not need to have any experience to take this program, it will teach you everything you need to know. You will gain experience using a microphone, receive vocal coaching, training in cueing, leadership, ridership, choreography, playlist curation, music mapping and learn how to inspire people. The training is broken down into two days where we will cover the 3 pillars of teaching cycling: mechanics, motivation and music. Mechanics:Knowledge of an indoor cycling bike and how each part works. How to set up a bike for a rider and how the body responds to each setting. Knowledge of muscles, proper riding technique, style and choreography. Motivation:A big part of group fitness classes is motivation, it’s one of the biggest reasons that people work out together instead of alone. An inspirational instructor is able to talk to a room full of riders and make each one feel like they are being personally coached and spoken to. We will be breaking down that connection and how you can create it every single class. Music:Rhythm riding is based around music, so the biggest part of our training will be focused on music. How to count music, where to find it and how to put it into a playlist effectively with choreography. Additionally you’ll learn how to count music, how to cue and how to blend it all together in the right places. We will also be touching on: Fueling for your ride (nutrition and recovery) Safety Stage presence Microphone etiquette Social media Professionalism Body language And so much more! Who is this training for? This training is for anyone who wants to level up their skills as an indoor cycling coach any skill level/experience is welcome! What you will get from the training: You will receive an instructor manual that you can take home with you. You will receive one on one coaching and feedback on your cycling talent! We are confident that after our training program, you will stand out above the competition for any cycle instructor position/audition. What you will not get from the training:This program does not give you any formal certificate to teach group fitness, this is only for rhythm riding under our own personal style.
