Full Description Designed in collaboration with renowned steelhead angler and fly designer Jerry French, Aqua Talon Swing Hooks are purpose-built for modern swung-fly fishing. Whether you're targeting winter steelhead, summer runs, or aggressive salmon, these hooks deliver the strength, penetration, and fish-holding performance serious anglers demand. Built specifically for shank-style and articulated steelhead flies, the Aqua Talon features a continuous round bend that maximizes strength while maintaining an ideal hooking angle. The slightly dropped, offset point increases hook-up efficiency, while the fine wire construction drives deep with minimal pressure for exceptional penetration. A 20° upturned eye creates the perfect connection point for trailing loops and girth-hitch attachments, making these hooks a natural fit for today's intruder, tube-inspired, and composite-loop fly patterns. When the grab comes and a chrome fish turns downstream, Aqua Talon Swing Hooks are engineered to stay connected. 3 Key Benefits Built for Swinging Flies Designed specifically for shank-style steelhead and salmon patterns fished on modern Spey and Skagit systems.
