Aquaforest Ca Plus New 2000ml is a professional marine aquarium calcium supplement designed to raise and stabilise calcium levels in reef aquariums. Calcium is one of the most important major elements in seawater, supporting coral calcification, skeletal development, coralline algae growth and long-term reef stability. Ideal for reef aquariums, SPS coral systems, LPS coral systems and mixed reef tanks, Aquaforest Ca Plus New provides a convenient liquid solution for correcting calcium deficiency and maintaining stable calcium levels. The large 2000ml bottle is especially useful for established reef aquariums, larger marine systems and aquariums with regular calcium consumption. Key Features Professional calcium supplement for marine aquariums Raises and helps stabilise calcium levels Supports coral calcification and skeletal growth Useful for correcting calcium deficiency and sudden calcium drops Helps maintain balanced reef aquarium water chemistry Suitable for SPS, LPS, soft coral and mixed reef aquariums Liquid formula for accurate manual or automatic dosing Ideal for established reef tanks with measurable calcium consumption Large 2000ml bottle for regular reef aquarium supplementation Designed for marine and reef aquarium use Product Overview Aquaforest Ca Plus New has been developed for marine aquarists who need to increase calcium levels safely and accurately. In reef aquariums, calcium is gradually consumed by hard corals, coralline algae, clams and other calcifying organisms. If calcium levels fall too low, coral growth can slow down or stop, and overall reef stability may be affected. This ready-to-use liquid calcium supplement allows aquarists to correct calcium levels based on reliable water testing and the actual consumption of the aquarium. It is particularly useful in aquariums where calcium demand is higher than can be maintained through water changes alone. Benefits for Reef Aquariums Aquaforest Ca Plus New helps support healthy coral growth by replenishing calcium when levels are depleted. Calcium is essential for the formation of coral skeletons, making it especially important in aquariums containing SPS corals, LPS corals, clams and coralline algae. Maintaining the correct calcium level also helps support a stable relationship between calcium, magnesium and carbonate hardness. This balance is essential in reef aquariums, as unstable calcium or KH levels can stress corals and reduce growth. Suitable For Aquaforest Ca Plus New 2000ml is suitable for: Marine aquariums Reef aquariums SPS coral systems LPS coral systems Mixed reef aquariums Soft coral aquariums Aquariums with clams or coralline algae growth Larger marine systems with regular calcium consumption Manual dosing routines Automatic dosing pump systems This product is designed for marine aquarium use only and should be dosed according to calcium test results. How to Use Test the calcium level in the aquarium before dosing. Dose Aquaforest Ca Plus New according to the measured calcium level and the desired target level. Add the supplement to an area of good water movement, or dose slowly using an automatic dosing pump for improved stability. For best results, raise calcium gradually and avoid sudden parameter changes. Regular testing is recommended to calculate the aquarium’s daily or weekly calcium consumption. Dosing Advice Aquaforest states that 10ml of Ca Plus raises calcium by approximately 15mg/l in 100 litres of aquarium water. The maximum daily dose is 20ml per 100 litres of aquarium water. Aquaforest recommends maintaining calcium between 380–460mg/l in reef aquariums. Always base dosing on accurate water test results. Magnesium should be within the recommended range before making major calcium and alkalinity adjustments. In reef aquariums, calcium, magnesium and KH work closely together, so all three parameters should be monitored regularly. When to Use Aquaforest Ca Plus New is useful when: Calcium levels are too low in a marine aquarium A reef aquarium has regular calcium consumption Coral growth is reducing due to low calcium availability SPS or LPS corals require stable mineral levels Coralline algae or clams are consuming calcium A dosing routine needs separate calcium control Larger reef aquariums require a bulk liquid supplement Water testing shows a gradual decline in calcium Storage Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Keep the bottle tightly closed when not in use. Keep out of reach of children. This product is intended for aquarium use only and is not suitable for consumption.
