Directions Use 5 mL for every 300 L (75 US gallons) of water to remove approximately 1 mg/L ammonia, 4 mg/L chloramine, or 5 mg/L chlorine. It can be added directly to the aquarium or preferably to new water before introduction. For direct aquarium dosing, base the amount on total volume. A normal sulfur odor is expected. For exceptionally high chloramine levels, a double dose is safe. In emergencies, up to five times the normal dose can detoxify nitrite. When water temperature exceeds 30°C (86°F) and chlorine or ammonia is low, use half the recommended dose.
